In 2016, I created TechieScribes to provide technical documentation and localisation services for companies of all sizes that do not have a technical writer on staff. Generally I work alone, but for tasks outside my competences I have a network of other technical writers in France, Germany and the USA, a translation agency in Paris and a PR strategist in Barcelona.
I have 20+ years experience in the software documentation and localisation field in diverse corporate environments working in a variety of teams: as single writers for one or multiple products, as members of larger documentation teams, and in globally distributed teams within multi-national companies. Generally, I prefer to work in smaller environments, with direct contact and interaction with the development and support teams.
I am familiar with managing multiple priorities, adapting to changing requirements and producing deliverables on tight release schedules.

I can provide four languages, German, English, French and Spanish for inhouse documentation and translation and, in addition, Portuguese and Italian for inhouse localisation. All other languages are outsourced to my longtime translation agency partner in Paris.
